Job summary

Nitto Avecia is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead Lean transformation across the site, building CI capabilities and driving operational excellence through data-driven problem solving.

You will partner with leaders to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and financial performance using DMAIC, Kaizen events, and standardized management systems. Strong coaching and change-management skills are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of Continuous Improvement, Lean, Kaizen, or operational excellence experience within a manufacturing or operations environment.
• Structured problem solving and root cause analysis methodologies experience (DMAIC, 6Ms, TapRoot, process mapping).

Responsibilities

• Lead CI efforts focusing on safety, quality, environmental performance and operational effectiveness.
• Partner with operations leadership to develop and execute Lean CI strategies and projects.
• Support annual strategy deployment aligning priorities with organizational goals.
• Lead cross-functional CI initiatives, Kaizen events, and value stream improvements.
• Facilitate problem solving using Lean tools and ensure root causes are addressed.
• Build CI capability through coaching, mentoring, and training programs.
• Evaluate and sustain Visual Management Boards and other management systems.
• Drive standardization of processes, metrics, and operating procedures across departments.
