Job summary

Gestamp North America is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead the GPS-based lean manufacturing deployment across facilities. You will guide implementation, training, and a productivity roadmap while partnering with site leaders to optimize safety, quality and cost performance.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing engineering with a focus on metal stamping and assembly, plus a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering. Travel to sites nationwide is expected.

Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing principles mastery and application.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, both written and oral.
• Strong teamwork and consensus-building mindset.
• Willingness and ability to travel to manufacturing sites.
• Proficient with MS Office and computer tools.
• Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead in developing and implementing CI infrastructure using GPS.
• Assist in identifying and implementing safety, quality, cost and productivity improvements.
• Teach GPS principles, kaizen activities, and strategy deployment.
• Develop Productivity Roadmap processes and ensure accuracy across locations.
• Track and publish open capacity analyses for key equipment in NA.
• Develop plant layout models using industrial engineering and flow concepts.
• Coordinate CI programs to meet milestones and budgets.
