Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader ( onsite ) in Elyria, OH. The role involves directing manufacturing activities, coordinating projects, and driving safety, efficiency, and profitability across the plant.

You will collaborate with EHS, Quality, and Manufacturing, develop budgets, and mentor teams to achieve lean manufacturing goals with a focus on process improvement and cross-site agility.

Qualifications

• Lean principles experience
• Experience in managing and developing teams
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with priorities
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety and quality practices
• Budget management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

Responsibilities

• Directs, administers, and coordinates activities to meet organizational goals.
• Works with EHS to ensure OSHA safety compliance.
• Ensures efficient use of personnel and equipment.
• Maintains plant standards and explains variances to improve productivity.
• Develops budgets to meet financial goals.
• Provides mentorship and performance feedback to direct reports.
• Leads large and small projects cost-effectively to boost profitability.
• Supports safety, equipment purchases, and process improvements across sites.
