Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years engineering experience required.
• Experience with process equipment, steel machining and welding.
• Hands-on equipment troubleshooting and process improvements.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CAD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Review and improve existing processes and equipment.
• Ensure equipment and tooling operate at satisfactory levels.
• Perform process capability studies.
• Identify and implement safety and productivity improvements.
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives that support continuous improvements.
• Document work standards and instructions.
• Investigate production concerns and perform root cause analysis.
• Oversee procurement, plant layout, installations and validations for new equipment.
• Initiate capital budget requests and justify manufacturing proposals.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure EH&S policy compliance.
