Job summary

MacLean Power Systems (MPS) in Fort Mill, SC seeks a seasoned Continuous Improvement Advisor to drive manufacturing operational efficiency and cost savings across nine facilities. You will analyze processes, develop and deploy Lean initiatives, and coach teams in Kaizen and other Lean methods to boost profitability and performance.

The role requires extensive Lean experience, leadership, and the ability to work across multiple sites.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or 6 years with a Master’s degree.
Lean Subject Matter Expert with manufacturing experience in Lean/Engineering.
Understanding of Lean methodologies and principles.
Development of Kaizen schedule with full planning, facilitation, and follow-up experience.
ISO9001 certification or auditing experience.

Responsibilities

Analyze designs, methods and internal manufacturing processes.
Develop strategies and initiatives for operational efficiency.
Implement process improvements and changes in manufacturing methods.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools (5S, VSM, SMED, TPM, Kaizen).
Support CI Director, Managers, Supervisors, and Engineers in Lean implementation.
Conduct Lean Assessments at each facility and plan improvements.
Develop and train CI group in Kaizen methods and training delivery.
Develop and implement Model Lines under CI leadership.
Utilize existing CI Lean training to propagate methods across facilities.
Work independently to meet scheduled goals and manage large projects.
