Job summary

Morgan Truck Body is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead to drive Lean initiatives across multiple facilities. You will lead cross-functional teams, mentor technicians, facilitate Kaizen events, and ensure Lean principles are embedded in daily work.

The role requires 3–5 years of manufacturing CI leadership, travel about 25%, and strong skills in 5S, Value Stream Mapping, PDCA, and problem solving. You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Safety to deliver measurable

Qualifications

3–5 years of manufacturing experience with CI leadership.
Proven track record leading Lean, Kaizen, or Operational Excellence projects.
Strong knowledge of Lean tools: 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Visual Management, SMED, PDCA.
Ability to travel approximately 25% to support Morgan Truck Body sites.

Responsibilities

Lead Lean initiatives that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and engagement.
Coach teams and facilitate Kaizen events across multiple facilities.
Lead cross-functional improvement projects from concept to implementation.
Mentor Continuous Improvement teams and develop future Lean leaders.
Develop, sustain, and monitor standard work and KPIs.
Coordinate materials and equipment for CI projects.
Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Safety, HR, and Supply Chain.
Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
