Job summary

Encore Fire Protection seeks a Lean Practitioner to drive a continuous-improvement culture across the organization. You will train and coach leaders from executives to frontline supervisors to rethink work, goals, and problem solving.

You will lead Kaizen events, embed core lean disciplines, and facilitate Hoshin Kanri so priorities translate into measurable goals across locations and functions. You’ll challenge leaders constructively and use data, coaching, and facilitation to move work forward

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience driving lean or continuous improvement in an operational environment.
• Experience training and facilitating Hoshin Kanri at enterprise or multi-site level.
• Proven track record leading Kaizen events with measurable business results.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary catalyst for lean culture change at executive, location, and frontline levels.
• Design and deliver training in lean fundamentals, Hoshin Kanri, and structured problem-solving for leaders and high-potential talent.
• Develop a bench of internal lean and Kaizen facilitators to spread capability beyond this role.
• Lead Hoshin Kanri process and facilitate cascading, measurable goals and catchball.
• Establish monthly/quarterly review cadences to keep goals visible and owned by leaders.
• Plan and lead Kaizen events targeting top opportunities for people, customers, and value creation.
• Drive measurable, sustained results from events with disciplined follow-through.
• Map current-state processes across field operations and cross-functional areas.
• Trace processes to identify boundaries, root causes, and future-state opportunities.
• Document findings in standardized formats like value-stream maps and standard work.
• Partner with Transformation/PMO and executives on cross-functional initiatives.
