Job summary

Encore Fire Protection seeks a senior Lean Practitioner to lead a continuous-improvement culture across the organization. You will train leaders from executives to frontline supervisors and embed lean disciplines, Kaizen events, and rapid-improvement sprints that deliver measurable results.

You will drive Hoshin Kanri alignment, facilitate catchball across levels, and ensure strategic priorities become cascading, measurable goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience driving lean or continuous-improvement culture in an operational environment.
• Experience training and facilitating Hoshin Kanri or strategic policy deployment at enterprise or multi-site level.
• Proven track record planning and leading Kaizen events with measurable results.
• Strong executive presence and facilitation skills to coach senior leaders.
• Mastery of core lean tools including process mapping, root-cause analysis, standard work, visual management, and value-stream mapping.
• Experience building internal training curriculums and lean capability in others.
• Experience applying lean principles in field service, distribution, construction, or decentralized operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary catalyst for lean culture change, coaching executives and frontline leaders to adopt lean thinking.
• Design and deliver training in lean fundamentals, Hoshin Kanri, and structured problem solving.
• Develop a bench of internal lean facilitators to spread improvement capability.
• Lead Hoshin Kanri process and translate strategic priorities into cascading goals.
• Establish monthly and quarterly review cadences to keep goals visible and owned by leaders.
• Plan and lead Kaizen events and rapid-improvement sprints targeting high-priority opportunities.
• Drive measurable results with disciplined follow-through after events.
• Map current-state processes across field operations and cross-functional areas.
• Identify boundaries, root causes, and opportunities; document findings with clear formats.
• Collaborate with Transformation/PMO and leaders on cross-functional initiatives.
