Job summary

Encore Fire Protection, the East Coast's largest full-service fire protection company, seeks a Lean Practitioner to train, coach, and challenge leaders to think and act differently about work, goals, and problem solving. This leadership role blends teaching with hands‑on execution.

You will lead Kaizen events, embed core lean disciplines, and facilitate Hoshin Kanri to align strategic priorities across locations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership in lean or continuous improvement.
• Experience training and facilitating Hoshin Kanri at multi-site level.
• Proven track record leading Kaizen events with measurable results.
• Strong executive presence and facilitation skills with senior leaders.
• Mastery of core lean tools: process mapping, root cause analysis, standard work.
• Experience building lean curriculum and developing capability in others.
• Experience applying lean in field service or decentralized operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as lean culture catalyst coaching executives to adopt lean thinking.
• Design and deliver training in lean fundamentals and Hoshin Kanri.
• Develop internal lean facilitators to spread capability.
• Lead Kaizen events and rapid-improvement sprints.
• Map current-state processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Document findings with process maps and value-stream maps.
• Drive execution of improvement priorities with cross-functional leaders.
• Escalate when lean tools or goals are not engaged.
