Job summary

Thermon Industries, Inc. is seeking a Lean/Continuous Improvement leader to advance our US operations. You will drive deployment of Lean initiatives across all value streams, improve material flow, and develop strategic deployment of goals with leadership.

Reporting to the VP of Global Operations CECO, you will train teams, create dashboards, and lead cost reduction and process improvements, including 3P and new product introductions, while traveling up to 40%.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of related experience or training in Lean optimization.
• Experience leading a Lean transformation (e.g., Shingo, Model Site).
• Ability to read and interpret business publications, write reports, and present to groups.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to analyze financial impact.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficiency in presentation, manufacturing, project management, spreadsheet and word processing software.
• Lean Expert certification and/or Lean Black Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean deployment across all U.S. operations value streams.
• Improve material flow using Lean tools (5S, Kanban, SMED, visual factory).
• Develop and track operations and business strategies and deployment progress.
• Create dashboards and metrics to monitor progress and financial impact.
• Establish pull systems between manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain.
• Coach process owners and project teams in continuous improvement methods.
• Act as change agent to sustain Lean culture.
• Support budgets, forecasts, and strategic projects related to Lean.
• Advance new product and process introductions using CI methods.
• Travel 20-40% as required.
