Job summary

Beckett Thermal Solutions in Ohio is seeking aContinuous Improvement Manager, Lean Transformation, to lead the development and deployment of our Lean management system across plants. You’ll partner with plant and functional leaders to build problem solving capability and drive high-value improvement initiatives that raise safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and customer value.

This is an individual contributor leadership role with cross-site influence.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years in manufacturing, operations, industrial engineering, or continuous improvement.
• Experience leading Lean transformation or major cross functional initiatives.
• Proven track record delivering sustained operating results and financial benefits.
• Strong capability in daily management, standard work, visual management, value stream mapping, flow, pull, root cause analysis, 5S.
• Financial literacy related to labor, scrap, overhead, inventory, capacity, margin, cash.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, communication, and influence across levels.
• Demonstrated shop floor credibility and willingness to spend time where work is performed.
• Strong Excel and data analytics skills.
• BS in engineering, operations, supply chain, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the BTS Lean transformation roadmap aligned with strategy and needs.
• Build and manage a focused portfolio of improvement initiatives with baselines and ownership.
• Lead selected high impact projects using Lean, manufacturing engineering, and problem solving.
• Establish daily management systems, visual measures, accountable leadership, and leader standard work.
• Coach leaders to identify abnormalities, determine root causes, implement countermeasures, and sustain standards.
• Analyze value streams, flow, cycle time, labor, quality loss, scrap, inventory, capacity and cost.
• Partner with Finance to validate recurring savings, capital benefits, and one-time gains.
• Support value stream design, NPI, PFMEA, material flow, layout, and automation where Lean adds value.
• Build internal capability through coaching, learning, and Lean leader development.
• Conduct sustainment reviews, verify results, and transfer ownership to operating leaders.
• Provide monthly reporting on results, impact, sustainment, barriers, and decisions.
• Model BTS values through humility, respect, courage, high standards and discipline.
