Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Manager of Continuous Improvement to lead Lean initiatives across a windows and doors manufacturing facility. You will drive a Lean transformation, coach CI staff, and partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS, Engineering, and Maintenance to deliver safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years in manufacturing with Lean leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, operations, or related field.
• Five+ years in manufacturing operations, including 3+ years in CI/Lean leadership.
• Led Kaizen events and cross-functional improvement projects with measurable results.
• Strong knowledge of Lean tools, problem-solving, process mapping, and performance measurement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant's Lean transformation roadmap and align priorities with enterprise CI strategy.
• Coach CI practitioners to strengthen execution and ownership of results.
• Plan, facilitate Kaizen events focusing on throughput, changeover reduction, scrap reduction, ergonomics, and material flow.
• Manage CI project pipeline with charters, milestones, risks, and financial impact tracking.
• Apply structured problem-solving and SPC to improve process capability and decision-making.
