Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Manager of Continuous Improvement at our Lithia Springs, GA facility. This role leads Lean transformation across manufacturing operations, coaching a CI Specialist and partnering with Operations, Quality, EHS, Engineering, and Maintenance to deliver safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.

Responsibilities include facilitating Kaizen events, conducting value stream mapping, applying Six Sigma tools, and sustaining improvements through standard

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
• Five or more years of experience in manufacturing operations, including at least three years in a Continuous Improvement or Lean leadership role.
• Demonstrated success planning and leading Kaizen events and cross-functional improvement projects that produced measurable results.
• Strong working knowledge of Lean tools, structured problem‑solving methodologies, process mapping, and performance measurement.
• Experience supervising, coaching, or mentoring employees or project team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant's Lean transformation roadmap and align priorities with the enterprise CI strategy.
• Coach and develop CI practitioners to strengthen execution and ownership of results.
• Plan, facilitate Kaizen events focused on throughput, changeover reduction, scrap reduction, ergonomics, and material flow.
• Perform value stream mapping, time studies, root-cause analysis, and data-driven opportunity prioritization.
• Track CI project portfolio, including charters, milestones, risks, and financial impact.
