Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia seeks a Director, Lean Site Consultant to serve as the Lean site leader, driving deployment of the Lean Road Map, and coaching cross-functional teams toward sustainable improvements that enhance patient care, quality and safety.

You will train leaders, align with the Lean Transformation Office, manage multi-department initiatives, and build a culture of continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or Healthcare Administration.
• Lean certification required; Six-Sigma within 1 year; PMP preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in continuous improvement, with 8 in Lean.
• At least 3 years in a direct management role, 5+ years in healthcare.
• Experience developing a Lean program and training leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate complex improvement events and projects.
• Develop and deploy site-wide Lean standards and toolkits.
• Coach leaders and Lean Site Consultants; mentor teams.
• Partner with operations to implement and sustain the WellStar management system.
• Communicate progress with executive sponsors and stakeholders.
• Drive cross-functional improvement opportunities across the system.
