Job summary

MPI, a market-leading manufacturing organization, seeks a Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement Lead in Massachusetts. You will drive lean initiatives across sites, lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and waste reduction, partnering with plant leadership and cross-functional teams.

You will mentor staff in lean principles, track improvements, and report on safety, quality, delivery and cost performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering
2-4 years of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence experience
Knowledge of Lean tools including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, Visual Management, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive change within a manufacturing environment.
Experience leading process improvement, productivity enhancement, or manufacturing initiatives.
U.S. Citizen
Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred

Responsibilities

Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing locations.
Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping exercises, and waste reduction projects.
Partner with plant leadership, steering committees, and cross-functional teams to strengthen Lean culture and employee engagement.
Analyze manufacturing processes and implement improvements related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
Lead Gemba walks, project reviews, improvement tracking, and operational reporting.
Train and mentor employees on Lean principles, problem-solving methodologies, and continuous improvement best practices
