Job summary

Mercury Marine, a Brunswick brand headquartered in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, seeks an Operations Excellence trainer to lead continuous improvement learning. You will design, create, and deliver Lean Six Sigma training across the organization, spanning in-person, remote, and hybrid formats.

The role drives safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements through education and coaching. You will partner with CI leadership to roll out belt training, mentor employees, and develop materials and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, education, organizational development, engineering, or operations management.
• 3-5 years applying Lean Six Sigma, DFSS, and/or other CI methodologies.
• 2 years minimum providing in-person and online teaching to adults in a business setting.
• Experience with Workday Learning and software to deliver online and remote content.
• LSS Green Belt certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and deliver Lean Six Sigma and CI training across Brunswick.
• Facilitate, update, and deliver White/Yellow/Green/Black Belt training and CI Champion training.
• Mentor and support employees pursuing CI certification.
• Develop CI training materials, curricula, simulations, and learning resources for in-person and remote formats.
• Create and deliver in-person and online classwork and activities.
• Ownership of WorkDay Learning course creation, tracking, development, and metrics.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and business results.
