Job summary

Mercury Marine, a division of Brunswick Corporation, in Fond du Lac, WI, seeks an Operations Excellence trainer to lead CI training development and delivery across formats. You will design training, coach, and certify initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and engagement.

The role emphasizes Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Workday Learning, and expansive cross-functional collaboration. Travel to sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, education, organizational development, engineering, or operations management.
• 3-5 years applying Lean Six Sigma, Design for Six Sigma, and/or other CI methodologies.
• 2 years minimum providing in-person and online teaching/education to adults in a business setting.
• Experience with Workday Learning and software to deliver online and remote learning content.
• LSS Green Belt certification.
• 4-7 years relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CI leadership to plan, create, and deliver Lean Six Sigma and other CI training.
• Facilitate White to Black Belt training and CI Champion programs.
• Mentor employees pursuing CI certification.
• Develop training materials, simulations, workshops, and learning resources.
• Create both in-person and online/remote classwork and activities.
