Elbit America in Roanoke, VA is seeking a trainer to support visual evaluation processes in Backshop (PreTest, AVI, Defect Eval) and improve training, skill retention, and consistent product disposition across 30+ operators.

The role emphasizes Lean and Six Sigma tools to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and safety, quality, and productivity. You will perform other duties as assigned.

• Applies Lean and Six Sigma tools to reduce waste and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support visual evaluation processes in Backshop (PreTest, AVI, Defect Eval).
• Spend >75% time interacting with operators and dispositioning non-conforming product.
• Train production employees to improve work processes and product quality.
• Implement cost reduction opportunities (yield and productivity improvements, waste elimination).
• Ensure safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and production issues are minimized.
