Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Sedalia, MO to lead process improvements and drive efficiency across production lines. You will coordinate with engineering and operations to reduce waste, optimize tooling, and support new product launches.

You will develop training materials, SOPs, and process controls, while applying Lean and Six Sigma methods to meet cost and quality targets. This on‑site role requires strong collaboration and problem‑solving skills.

Qualifications

• Experience driving manufacturing improvements and cost reductions.
• Strong leadership and cross‑functional influence to implement new methods.
• Proven ability to develop work instructions and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with production to implement effective methods and technologies.
• Develop process parameters, tooling, fixtures, and equipment setups for stable production.
• Lead readiness activities for new product launches, including validation and documentation.
• Benchmark industry practices and integrate advanced manufacturing techniques.
• Plan and manage improvement projects from concept to implementation.
• Provide hands‑on technical support for daily production issues and deviations.
• Deliver measurable gains in productivity, scrap reduction, cycle time and OEE.
• Maintain relationships across departments to align production goals.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma to drive continuous improvement and cost reductions.
• Train operators with clear work instructions and SOPs.
