Job summary

Prysmian Group in Sedalia, MO is seeking a Process Engineering Manager to lead the engineering department and drive safety, quality, environmental and productivity improvements across the operation.

You will collaborate with the leadership team to plan capital projects, industrialize new products, and sustain a competitive manufacturing operation in the growing power distribution market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5 years of process engineering or process management experience.
• Continuous improvement training and experience (Six Sigma, Kaizen, Gemba, DMAIC, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, Heijunka, etc.).
• Excellent team building skills - as team leader, team member or trainer.
• Enthusiastic individual who has demonstrated ability working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant Continuous Improvement (CI) program and CI Council.
• Develop and maintain process lines; assure material specifications for quality.
• Forecast, manage, and coordinate project budgets and schedules.
• Prepare and execute capital plans for improvements and new products.
• Develop and implement new technologies to support the business strategy.
• Collaborate to collect and analyze KPI data (OEE, changeover times, 6S, scrap).
