Job summary

The University of Virginia (UVA) Community Health seeks a Performance Improvement Coach to lead and coach on Lean Management System projects across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will deliver CQI instruction, develop improvement plans, and support administrators, managers, and physicians to drive value for patients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field or Engineering required.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance improvement projects using CQI tools; coach leaders and staff.
• Develop and update management plans; monitor project plans and communications.
• Provide effective leadership and coaching to ensure project completion using CQI methodologies.
• Deliver classroom and just-in-time training on process improvement topics for multiple learners.
• Partner with admin and clinical leaders to maintain Lean Management System and drive organizational transformation.
• Collect and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement; display analytics as needed.
• Improve patient outcomes, care experience, and resource utilization; sustain improvements post-implementation.
• Support regulatory survey activities as part of compliance readiness.
