Job summary

Tate's Bake Shop is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our snack food manufacturing team at East Moriches, NY. The candidate will focus on waste reduction, line efficiency, throughput, and process controls aligned with product specifications.

Ideal candidates have 5-10 years in CI, project management skills, and Lean Six Sigma experience to drive ROI-based improvements in quality, safety, and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field required.
• 5-10 years of experience in Continuous Improvement in food or snack manufacturing preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, throughput increase, and line efficiency.
• Develop, validate, and implement process controls based on product specifications to ensure consistent product quality.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify root causes, implement sustainable solutions, and drive measurable improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Quality & Food Safety, R&D, Corporate Engineering, and Supply Chain.
• Develop KPIs and report progress to stakeholders and executives.
