Job summary

Nutrawise Health & Beauty LLC in Irvine, CA seeks a Continuous Improvement Specialist to lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, reduce waste, and increase product value consistent with CTQ requirements in a GMP environment.

You will drive data-informed process optimizations, mentor CI belts, develop training programs, and coordinate Kaizen events across sites to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience in a pharmaceutical or GMP environment.
• Post-secondary education in science, engineering or mathematics is an asset.
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification required or higher is an asset.
• Knowledge of dispensing, blending, coating, encapsulation and packaging equipment.
• Strong data analysis skills with Excel, Minitab, MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to improve enterprise processes and quality initiatives.
• Identify and scope improvement opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
• Lead on-the-floor improvement sessions and engage employees to generate solutions.
• Develop and facilitate lean six sigma training and establish a culture of continuous improvement.
• Coach Yellow and Green Belts in CI tools and mindset.
• Host Kaizen events across multiple manufacturing sites and expand lean tool usage.
• Review processes to enhance effectiveness and eliminate waste.
• Maintain SOPs and GMP compliance throughout the facility.
