Job summary

Adecco is assisting a client in GOLETA, CA in search of a Shipping Receiving Clerk. This role offers a stable schedule of Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour and access to Adecco’s perks and upskilling resources.

The incumbent will deploy LEAN principles in shipping and receiving, track KPIs, and work with the Materials Manager to ensure accurate inspections, proper documentation, and smooth material flow through the warehouse.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience with LEAN Principles (Kanban, consignment, demand flow) preferred.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles to identify and eliminate waste in materials.
Forklift certification and familiarity with pallet jacks, hoists and related handling tools.

Responsibilities

Deploy the Policies and Procedures as directed by the Materials Manager.
Execute Shipping & Receiving duties using LEAN Principles to support continuous flow and mitigate risks.
Track and report key functional metrics KPIs as directed by the Materials Manager.
Unpack and inspect incoming shipments, identify damaged items, communicate with purchasing to rectify issues.
