Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Reconditioning Center Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our Inspection Center. You will lead a team of leads and front-line associates, drive continuous improvement, and ensure quality, production, and cost objectives are met in a lean manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes mentorship, training, and strategic execution, with a focus on maintaining high standards of safety and productivity while fostering a culture of engagement and Carvana values.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience leading and developing associates.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years.
• Ability to maintain high volume and high-quality content in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within the Inspection Center.
• Provide mentoring and accountability to direct reports and succession planning through coaching and training.
• Participate in strategic planning and alignment with company goals.
• Ensure adherence to operating standards, policies, and performance metrics.
• Create a positive, collaborative team environment and uphold Carvana values.
• Maintain supervisory staff through recruitment, orientation, and training.
• Ensure training and certification processes are consistently executed.
• Lead problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
