Job summary

Pacific Gas and Electric Company is seeking a seasoned professional to bridge Electric Operation with Quality Management System requirements. You will lead corrective actions, conduct cause evaluations, and oversee internal audits to ensure high quality results.

In this hybrid role, you will drive lean process improvements, facilitate cross-functional teams, and champion continuous improvement projects across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 7 years of job-related experience in Business, IT or Engineering.
• Experience in high-complexity projects in a leadership role.
• Graduate degree or equivalent experience.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• ISO9001/55001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certified or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Lean deployment for process improvement.
• Experience managing internal audit programs.

Responsibilities

• Deploy Lean Play Book, Gamba and Value Stream Mapping (VSM); lead and facilitate continuous improvements (Kaizen Blitz, Kaizen).
• Analyze and document business requirements for complex projects.
• Lead and solve Corrective Action, Cause Evaluation, and Quality Review programs with on-time completion and excellent quality goals.
• Lead and manage continuous improvement projects.
• Identify, propose and influence solutions to complex business problems.
• Anticipate concerns and questions; provide proactive, timely communications or delegate as appropriate.
• Act as a key contributor to teams that define, review and approve requirements for the business needs solution.
• Participate in UATs and perform quality reviews of test results.
• May assist with training, change management and communications associated with system implementations.
• Contribute to business case development.
• Participate in project estimates.
• May write manuals, Requests for Change, procedures.
