Job summary

Pacific Gas and Electric Company is seeking an experienced professional to join the Electric Compliance Controls Validation Team. The role focuses on developing quality management plans to ensure compliance quality controls are effective.

The role offers hybrid work, with up to 60% travel to field sites within PG&E service territory. The selected candidate will engage with leadership, validate controls, and strengthen safety and compliance practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five (5) years of auditing or quality experience, or field experience in electric, gas and/or power generation.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% with possible overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Performs as lead auditor with oversight/audit plan and schedules.
• Prepares audit work packages and related documents.
• Collects, verifies, and analyzes information related to audit objectives and interfaces.
• Reviews regulations, standards, procedures, records and other documents relevant to scope.
• Evaluates evidence and identifies opportunities for improvement.
• Communicates audit progress and results to management and follows up on corrective actions.
• Drafts written audit reports describing findings and trends.
