Jobot partners with a leading manufacturing company seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily plant operations in the Lynchburg, VA area. You will drive efficiency, implement Six Sigma improvements, manage inventory, and lead a high-performing team to meet production goals.

Responsibilities include budgeting, KPI reporting, collaboration with product development, and ensuring on-time material delivery. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in manufacturing.
Experience in inventory management, Six Sigma, process improvement, supply chain, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage daily manufacturing plant operations.
Develop and implement Six Sigma process improvements to reduce waste and boost efficiency.
Oversee inventory management with accurate records and optimal stock levels.
Collaborate with product development to successfully launch new products.
Lead supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
Plan strategically to meet production goals and objectives.
Motivate and develop a high-performing team and foster continuous improvement.
Manage the production budget for cost-effectiveness and profitability.
Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions as needed.
Coordinate with project management to ensure on-time, on-budget project completion.
