Voith US Inc. in Appleton, WI seeks a Production Supervisor to provide frontline leadership for assigned manufacturing areas and shifts.

You will be accountable for safety, product quality, schedule execution, and team performance, directing daily work and resource allocation to meet production goals. The role collaborates with Safety, Scheduling, Quality, Maintenance, Design, and Human Resources to achieve customer and business objectives, while developing employees and ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

• Leads production teams with daily direction and coaching.
• Interprets production metrics to drive operational decisions.
• Uses structured problem solving and Lean methods to reduce waste and downtime.

Responsibilities

• Leads the assigned production team and provides daily direction, coaching, and operational support.
• Ensures safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Sets and executes the production plan, adjusting labor and equipment utilization as needed.
• Monitors metrics and drives corrective action when gaps appear.
• Communicates risks and recovery plans to leadership and support functions.
• Partners with Quality to contain nonconforming product and implement corrective actions.
• Develops employees through feedback, reviews, training, and career development.
