Job summary

ABB in Fort Smith, AR is seeking a Production Manager on the Second Shift (3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., Monday–Friday) to oversee plant equipment, processes, and personnel.

You will ensure cost-effective results meeting schedules, quality, and planning targets while collaborating with the Manufacturing Team. The role requires a Bachelor's or aligned degree with relevant experience, or alternative education with accumulated years in a manufacturing setting; Lean Six Sigma and SAP/Workday experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 2 years experience OR Associate’s degree with minimum 4 years experience OR High School Diploma/GED with minimum 6 years experience.
• Preferred Supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred; familiarity with Shopfloor Display and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute production schedules to meet demand and inventory levels.
• Identify deficiencies and drive improvements to productivity and quality.
• Lead and develop Fort Smith team with fairness and consistency.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping and quality standards are met and issues are resolved.
