Job summary

ABB in Fort Smith, AR is seeking a Production Supervisor on Third Shift (11 p.m. – 7 a.m.) to lead production planning and execution, manage staff, and maintain safety and quality standards. You will coordinate plant equipment, personnel, and processes to meet demand and budget targets.

The role requires a bachelor’s with 2+ years (or an associate with 4+) in manufacturing leadership, and work authorization to work in the US. SAP and Workday experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years or an Associate degree with 4+ years, or a HS diploma with 6+ years.
• Experience in supervisory roles in manufacturing is preferred.
• Must have work authorization to work in the US for ABB.

Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Execution: ensure schedules meet demand and inventory service levels; maintain departmental schedules; act as backup supervisor; manage timekeeping and HR tasks.
• Operational Performance & Continuous Improvement: identify deficiencies, recommend equipment or facility improvements, oversee actions to improve productivity and quality.
• Leadership & Team Development: maintain employee confidence through fairness; facilitate training; enforce policies; foster a professional environment in Fort Smith, AR.
• Safety, Quality & Issue Resolution: ensure safety, housekeeping, and quality standards; collaborate to resolve issues and drive problem solving.
