Job summary

Fabcon in Grandville, MI is seeking a Production Supervisor to drive Lean initiatives and SQDC performance across safety, quality, delivery and cost. You will provide direction to support groups and ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time.

You'll establish a lean vision for processes, set SQDC goals, lead daily startup meetings, and coach staff on standard work and continuous improvement. The role involves staffing, cross-training, and mentoring a winning team in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience leading a team in manufacturing or similar.

Responsibilities

• Manages customer orders to insure proper fulfillment.
• Ensures resources are available to meet output requirements.
• Communicates progress toward order fulfillment.
• Establishes a lean vision and SQDC improvement goals.
• Posts and monitors SQDC metrics to track progress.
• Leadership and mentoring of team members; hires and trains staff.
