Job summary

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day production activities at our Bowling Green, KY facility. The role focuses on safety, quality, cost, and delivery within a Lean environment, working with cross-functional leaders to resolve issues and improve performance.

The candidate will guide a high-performing team, ensure training and accountability, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across production lines. Weekend/overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• At least five years supervising a team of 20+ in a manufacturing environment with Lean.
• Demonstrated experience motivating and leading people in a positive work environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with statistical evaluation software a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Greenbelt Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership for production areas and team members.
• Drives operations to meet production quality and quantity targets.
• Establishes strong working relationships for a positive work environment.
• Ensures team members are trained and receive performance feedback.
• Manages timecards, vacations, and manpower planning.
• Promotes Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
