Job summary

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC, part of the Knorr-Bremse Group, is seeking a Line Owner to lead day-to-day production activities on 2nd shift in Bowling Green, KY. You will drive safety, quality, cost and delivery through a high performing team and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities include start-up, changeover, 5S, IPILS reviews, downtime tracking, audits, and shift pass-downs, with a focus on continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing principles.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience driving a positive work environment is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.
• Strong problem solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and shift demands.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and JIT principles is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production activities to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals.
• Conduct start-up, changeover procedures, and daily/shift reports.
• Oversee 5S, IPILS, safety checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
