Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 6-10 years of relevant experience (required).
• Prior production leadership in Lean Manufacturing environment (required).
• 6+ years of leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge and use of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
• Proficiency in related systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly employees and maintain shift operation logs.
• Prepare daily time sheets, production summaries, overtime and downtime reports.
• Plan work assignments to maximize manpower, materials, equipment and facilities.
• Collaborate with Engineering on methods, layouts, processes and equipment to boost efficiency.
• Coordinate with Material Control on production schedules and parts.
• Work with Quality Control to interpret and uphold quality standards.
• Communicate changes or conditions affecting production to management.
• Coordinate with Human Resources on employee relations matters.
• Ensure compliance with plant rules, safety standards and housekeeping.
