Socket.dev is seeking a Production Manager to oversee all production operations across the business, ensuring sewing, printing, cutting, metal fabrication, and 3D production run efficiently, safely, and on schedule.

The role acts as the central project manager for the entire production pipeline, ensuring smooth handoffs, clear communication, and consistent output quality. Strong organizational skills and hands-on leadership are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience managing production teams or manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and practical application.
• Experience overseeing multiple production processes simultaneously.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage procurement, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, hands on production environment.
• Growth mindset with proactive, solution-oriented approach.
• Accountability for decisions, outcomes, and errors within oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all production departments (sewing, printing, cutting, metal fabrication, 3D production).
• Ensure production schedules are met and workflows move smoothly between stages.
• Monitor output quality and resolve production issues quickly and effectively.
• Coordinate cross-department communication to prevent bottlenecks and delays.
• Oversee procurement of materials, manage inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Plan staffing based on production volume and seasonal needs.
