Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a Production Manager to lead 24/7 manufacturing operations delivering high‑quality technology products. You will supervise production teams, uphold safety and quality, and drive on-time delivery while controlling costs.

You will partner with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Supply Chain to resolve operational challenges, deploy Lean initiatives, and improve KPIs such as OEE and productivity. This role emphasizes accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• 5-8 years of manufacturing leadership experience, including supervision of production teams.
• Experience in a high-volume, technology, electronics, or advanced manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing metrics, Lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day production operations across multiple shifts in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining safety, quality, and customer delivery requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and frontline employees.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators including safety, quality, output, yield, OEE, labor productivity, and on-time delivery.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to resolve operational challenges and improve performance.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production capacity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Manage workforce planning, staffing, training, performance management, and employee engagement activities.
• Support budget objectives and identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational excellence.
