Job summary

Niron Magnetics is seeking a Production Planner to design, analyze, and continuously improve our manufacturing processes as we scale production. You will partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
2–3 years of manufacturing or production experience.
Familiarity with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 a plus) and data tools like Excel and Power BI.

Responsibilities

Analyze production workflows through time studies, capacity modeling, and process mapping.
Design and implement process improvements that increase productivity, reduce cost, and eliminate waste.
Support manufacturing layout design for facilities, lines, and workstations.
Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production challenges and implement sustainable solutions.
Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Use data and analytics tools to track performance metrics, identify trends, and support decision-making.
Participate in Kaizen events, lean initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
