Job summary

Niron Magnetics, Inc. is seeking a Production Planner to design, analyze, and continuously improve our manufacturing processes as we scale production.

This role partners closely with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to drive efficiency and ensure high-quality outcomes on the plant floor. Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into action.
• Hands-on experience with capacity models, simulations, and KPI dashboards.
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production workflows through time studies, capacity modeling, and process mapping
• Design and implement process improvements that increase productivity, reduce cost, and eliminate waste
• Support manufacturing layout design for facilities, lines, and workstations
• Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production challenges and implement sustainable solutions
• Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Use data and analytics tools to track performance metrics, identify trends, and support decision-making
• Participate in Kaizen events, lean initiatives, and continuous improvement projects
