Job summary

AOI in Sugar Land, Texas, is seeking an Operations Analyst to develop and sustain efficient methods across engineering, manufacturing and supply chain to boost profitability. You will calculate production capacity, coordinate with teams on progress, and assist the manager with technician attendance and performance reviews on the compound semiconductor laser chip line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to derive insights from data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across management and teams.
• Familiarity with MES/ERP systems and data tools is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SQL and LabVIEW is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with production and engineering to meet Quality, Delivery, and Cost goals.
• Determine metrics and create dashboards to monitor progress for leadership.
• Drive projects to increase productivity, reduce lead time, improve quality and cut costs.
• Identify manufacturing capabilities and limitations; calculate production capacity and coordinate with production control.
• Improve labor productivity via Lean Manufacturing methods and best practices.
• Assist with technician time cards and performance data collection.
