Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a Production Manager to lead an appliance manufacturing facility. This hands-on leadership role will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets while building high-performing teams.

You will plan production and capacity, optimize labor and equipment, apply Lean tools, and manage budgets. Strong ERP/MRP familiarity and a track record of continuous improvement are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
• 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, overseeing direct reports.
• Experience within manufacturing operations such as metal fabrication or assembly.
• Strong background in quality systems, continuous improvement, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Proven ability to deliver results across safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, labor planning, budgeting, and operational performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time production of products.
• Develop production and capacity plans to meet customer demand while optimizing labor, equipment, and material resources.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing tools, process optimization, and waste reduction programs.
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and production teams while fostering a culture of accountability and engagement.
• Manage manufacturing budgets, productivity, inventory, and cost-control initiatives while partnering cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.
