Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations in a highly automated, fast-paced environment. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity while developing frontline leaders and fostering continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include strategic daily operations leadership, KPI management, and cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and EH&S to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years manufacturing experience with 5+ years in leadership; or 3+ years leading leaders in casting.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
• Experience managing production teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• Experience in aerospace, investment casting, metal casting, or precision manufacturing beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient production.
• Lead and develop production managers, supervisors, and frontline leaders to meet goals.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Total Quality Management.
• Monitor KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, scrap, and labor efficiency.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and EH&S to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance throughput and reduce waste.
• Manage labor planning, staffing strategies, and production scheduling to meet delivery requirements.
• Support capital investment projects and process automation initiatives.
• Utilize financial and operational data for forecasting, budgeting, and cost reduction.
• Foster accountability, employee engagement, and operational excellence.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for safety, quality, and production concerns.
