Job summary

DuraMark Technologies is seeking a production supervisor to coordinate daily activities, remove obstacles, and drive lean improvements across a multi-shift team in Saint Paul, MN. The role emphasizes safety, process discipline, and on-time production delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5–15 years of supervisory experience in print production, with knowledge of lean tools and production scheduling. Strong cross-functional leadership and payroll responsibilities are included.

Qualifications

• Operations or engineering degree is preferred.
• Prefer 5 to 15 years supervisory experience in a print production environment.
• Experience should include managing digital printing, screen printing, die cutting, lamination, finishing, converting equipment, shipping, receiving and warehouse management.
• Knowledge of safety programs, quality processes, production scheduling, and component drawings/routings.
• Successful application of Lean tools such as VSM, CCF, mistake proofing, visual management, A3 problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day to day activities of employees and remove obstacles that restrict safe, efficient production.
• Develop teams and implement and monitor processes for a production area.
• Ensure the safety of your team, improve uptime by maintenance of assets, and manage capacity for on time delivery and productivity.
• Lead continuous improvement and apply lean tools to enhance team performance.
• Report to General Manager/Site Leader and manage up to 5 group leaders and 50 hourly employees.
• Participate in site wide continuous improvement and kaizen events.
