Job summary

Lufthansa Technik Puerto Rico is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive efficiency and performance. You will apply Lean methods, map processes, analyze KPIs, and lead cross-functional CI initiatives across the organization.

With a focus on sustainability and data-driven improvements, you will collaborate with management to identify root causes, implement practical solutions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the plant in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in aviation or MRO.
• Strong process-oriented mindset with ability to identify inefficiencies and translate challenges into improvements.
• Knowledge of Lean Management and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and drive process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Analyze existing processes to eliminate waste and develop sustainable solutions.
• Collaborate with management to understand challenges and prioritize improvements.
• Lead CI initiatives using Lean methodologies and structured problem-solving.
• Interpret KPIs to identify trends and plan targeted improvement programs.
• Support implementation with standardization and sustainability of solutions.
• Coordinate cross-functional workshops and improvement projects.
• Coach management and staff to promote a CI culture across the organization.
• Promote Lean tools and Change Management principles in daily operations.
• Use data analysis and reporting to inform decisions and identify automation opportunities.
