Job summary

ST Engineering Aerospace in Pensacola, FL, seeks a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead site-wide improvement initiatives and drive Lean, Kaizen and problem-solving across repair operations.

You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, Training, HR and Planning to elevate safety, quality, delivery and cost performance while coaching teams and expanding employee proficiency in continuous improvement practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in continuous improvement, aviation maintenance, manufacturing or operations.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and coaching employees or leaders.
• Lean, Kaizen, value stream mapping, standard work, root-cause analysis and structured problem-solving tools.
• Facilitation of improvement events and change initiatives.
• Experience in aviation maintenance or related technical environment preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green/Black) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI function and CI personnel, including coaching, development and performance management.
• Develop and execute site CI priorities aligned with requirements and objectives.
• Manage the PNA Management Operating System and related performance practices.
• Lead Lean, Kaizen, process-mapping and root-cause analysis activities across the repair station.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and costs.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams with Operations, Quality, Training and more.
• Coach leaders and staff in continuous improvement principles and standard work.
• Develop metrics, dashboards and scorecards to measure project results.
