Indiana University Health is seeking an Operational Excellence Expert-System to champion lean initiatives within the System Human Resources team and accelerate the application of lean principles to healthcare operations in support of the talent strategy.

The role leads training, facilitation and development of high impact process improvements while standardizing and spreading best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
  • 7-10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Human Resources is preferred.
  • 3-5+ years implementing improvement projects are required.
  • 2-3+ years experience with complex matrix organizations is required.
  • Process improvement experience required.
  • Change management experience required.
  • Project management experience required.
  • Requires basic proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Champions program development for the System Human Resources team to accelerate the knowledge and skills application of lean principles, methods and tools in healthcare operations in support of the organization's talent strategy.
  • Leads and provides training, facilitation, and development of strategic high impact process improvement initiatives, utilizing an organizational approach to standardize, spread, improve, and innovate.
  • Provides comprehensive support to ensure on time completion of talent strategy initiatives in alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and strategic imperatives.
  • Takes initiative to identify knowledge and skills gaps, and develops and delivers training to team members and leaders throughout the organization that is tailored to the position.
