Job summary

MEA Energy is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to analyze plant processes, drive productivity, and enhance quality and safety. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement Lean and Six Sigma improvements and lead projects from concept through completion.

The role requires collaboration with maintenance, quality assurance, and operations to maximize efficiency and sustain gains in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Lean Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in process improvement, engineering, or operations within a food manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement optimized processes to improve productivity and product quality.
• Collaborate with safety teams to ensure regulatory compliance and safer operations.
• Analyze performance data to guide improvement strategies.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to meet timelines and budgets.
