Job summary

Qnity is seeking an Improvement Engineer to drive plant-level continuous improvement initiatives, improve process safety, and boost production efficiency. You will apply Six Sigma, LEAN, IPS, and advanced process control concepts to deliver value across the facility.

Collaborating with technology center and operations, you will develop and execute a Plant Specific Technology Plan, track ROC improvements, and support safety programs while coaching site teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent STEM field).
• Six Sigma GBPL or BB certification is advantageous.
• Experience with Six Sigma, LEAN, IPS and process safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build respect and trust with operations by applying process technology knowledge and continuous improvement skill sets (Six Sigma, LEAN, IPS, Advanced Process Control & Optimization).
• Collaborate with technology experts to identify opportunities and develop a Plant Specific Technology Plan delivering year-over-year ROC and non-capital improvements.
• Champion process safety activities and support performance indicators to identify technology gaps and drive improvements.
• Lead and support continuous improvement activities, potentially serving in project manager or manufacturing representative roles.
