Job summary

EverStaff is seeking an experienced Manufacturing and Process Engineer to collaborate with Production and Maintenance teams to boost manufacturing operations. You will provide engineering support for equipment performance, downtime, preventive actions, and quality issues, analyzing problems, root causes, and implementing corrective measures.

You will lead continuous improvement projects, document work instructions, support Lean initiatives, 5S, TPM, and ensure safe, efficient, and reliable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with at least three years of manufacturing experience.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and production operations.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, methodologies, quality tools, and quality systems.
• Proficiency with CAD and other technical technologies used to accomplish objectives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels.
• Willingness to acquire new knowledge and apply it to improve efficiency and quality.
• Experience with rapid prototyping techniques and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Assess operating conditions and performance to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Develop and execute continuous improvement projects from concept to implementation.
• Document and maintain detailed work instructions to promote standardization.
• Lead Lean initiatives (Kaizen, A3, TPM) across the organization.
• Provide technical guidance on productivity, safety, product quality, and 5S.
• Evaluate new equipment requirements, ROI, and supplier qualifications.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, Sales, and Manufacturing to resolve quality issues.
• Create CAD layouts and plan equipment relocations across facilities.
• Coordinate downtime planning, repairs, upgrades, and new installations.
• Support manufacturing with repair planning and process optimization.
• Assist with IoT analytics and predictive maintenance initiatives.
