General Motors' Romulus Propulsion Systems seeks a Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, ensure quality, and drive continuous improvement. You will apply GM Manufacturing System principles to eliminate waste, standardize processes, and improve overall efficiency in a busy, unionized plant.

You will conduct PFMEA, cycle-time studies, and bottleneck analyses; plan and execute automation and new tooling; collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance; prepare detailed process

Formación

• 2 years of engineering experience
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience planning and executing automation
• Lean manufacturing experience
• Expertise in Process Engineering techniques, including process optimization and troubleshooting
• Experience leading and facilitating PFMEA
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to work overtime and off shift as needed

Responsabilidades

• Apply General Motors Manufacturing System (GMS) principles to identify and eliminate waste, standardize processes, and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Conduct in-depth Process Engineering analyses, including process flow PFMEA, cycle time studies, and bottleneck identification.
• Manage existing processes, and develop opportunities to improve uptimes, cycle times, and throughput, including implement new manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and maintenance to resolve manufacturing issues and drive continuous improvement in a unionized environment.
• Prepare detailed analysis, related to manufacturing processes and projects.
